BigDaddy - Free Pay Per Click Advertising is just the start

About a week ago when I was working on launching my Articles Biz site I was introduced to BigDaddy - and have spent much of the last week learning how important it is.

Here is the challenge - You want some information on the web - what do you do?

You Google it. You search for the information using Google.

Google have gone from a struggling upstart search engine to a $12 billion a year company in next to no time but more importantly they have become synonymous with searching the web. How therefore does a new search engine company break in when one company so dominates the market - its the same issue with Microsoft and their dominance of the browser market.

Well one thing that is interesting - once these companies dominate and become worth gazillions - there is an undercurrent feeling of people not wanting to support them. At the same time consumers need a reason to switch. I use Firefox - Why? Because FireFox makes my browsing experience more satisfying. I could not function without tabbed browsing; I like having my RSS reader right there in my browser; I love all the other extensions I have even if it makes the browser a bit resource heavy; I like that it's a community project - open source.

So back to Google and BigDaddy - The key to Google's success is Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising - and if you have used PPC you will know just how expensive that can be.

So BigDaddy have targeted the people who use PPC (who as it happens are also a group who tend to buy on-line) and come up with a deal where you get free PPC advertising. Great - but no good unless people are looking at the ads. So they made the way you pay for advertising encourage large numbers of people to use the search engine.

1. The more you use their search engine the more free advertising you get.
2. The more you encourage other people to use the search engine the more advertising you get.

How do you get other people to use the search engine - offer them free advertising and top positioning as well and create a network of people encouraging each other to use the new search engine.

Now here is the real benefit. What I actually want is not free PPC advertising - What I want is to get my products and services in front of lots of prospective customers - PPC and Search Engine optimisation are two ways of achieving that. A huge list of people to mail is also great but as you will know if you have tried, list building is not easy.

But what if everyone you encouraged to use the search engine and everyone they encourage and so on, were also in a database that you can email anytime you want. What if all those people every time they use their search engine see an ad about your products and services?

I am a member of the LinkedIn network I have 300 contacts, they have 100,000 contacts who have 2 million contacts - this is not pie in the sky - this is the actual network - but I cannot email them all or promote myself to them en masse. Imagine advertising yourself to a million people every day?

What BigDaddy shows is that no dominant organisation is unassailable - there will always be a new idea that can get to their market - in the case of BigDaddy - it is going to share out the Pay Per Click market so that we all get a slice of the billions.

I have set up a page to explain how this all works - it is totally free to join up.

You have shared a good knowledge of pay per click marketing, thanks for posting this blog. I was in search of a good pay per click company then I found Rupizmedia, a very reputed pay per click marketing company. It is really trustworthy and recommended.
